 Plant introduction: Cinnamon extract can maintain normal glucose tolerance and enhance the body's sensitivity to insulin. The phenolic oligomers in CE have a lightening effect on diabetes. When given different doses of CE for 14 days, it was found that it could significantly lower the blood glucose level of the model animals and improve the peripheral insulin level, with a lowering effect on postprandial hyperglycemia. The total phenolic compounds (TPC), quercetin, and kaempferol content of cinnamon are higher than those of other laurel family plants, making it a plant with antioxidant activity. It has been confirmed in both in vivo and in vitro experiments that it has anti-tumor effects. Its anti-tumor effect is related to its ability to clear superoxide free radicals and inhibit oxidative reactions.
